Nineteen stems, split between big golden sunflower heads and deep red roses, with the yellow and the red pushed right up against each other so the contrast is the point rather than an accident. Where our smaller Sunflower Bloom Bouquet is aimed at cheering someone up, this one is romantic: it is for the partner who finds a dozen red roses a little predictable, and for anniversaries where you want warmth rather than solemnity. The sunflowers give it height and the roses give it depth, so it fills a large vase properly instead of slumping. 2. Place them in clean, fresh water right away.
3. Remove any leaves below the waterline to keep the water clean.
4. Change the water every 2 days and re-cut the stems.
5. Keep the flowers in a cool spot, away from sunlight and heat.
