Lilies in a box solve a problem you may not have considered: they are tall, top-heavy and awkward in a wrapped bouquet, but set into foam they hold their angle perfectly and open outward exactly where they were placed. Combined with pink roses, that gives an arrangement with height and structure rather than a flat surface — unusual for a box, and considerably more interesting to look at. - Trim the stems at an angle to help them absorb water.
- Place them in clean, fresh water right away.
- Remove any leaves below the waterline to keep the water clean.
- Change the water every 2 days and re-cut the stems.
- Keep the flowers in a cool spot, away from sunlight and heat.
