Dark pink is where tulips stop being sweet. The pale shades read as spring and gentleness; this one is saturated enough to carry weight, closer to fuchsia than blush under indoor light, and two dozen of it fills a standard vase properly with no dividing required. Tulips keep growing after cutting and lean towards the light, so a straight bunch on Monday is a loose, sculptural one by Friday. - Remove any leaves below the waterline to keep the water clean.
- Change the water every 2 days and re-cut the stems.
- Keep the flowers in a cool spot, away from sunlight and heat.
