One hundred roses that absorb the light
Black is the only rose colour that works by subtraction. Red, pink and white bounce light back, so a big bouquet in those shades reads as brightness. Black swallows it, and at one hundred stems the effect stacks: a solid dark mass with the shape picked out only where a highlight catches a petal edge. It holds its outline against a pale wall or a white tablecloth, and photographs unlike anything else we build. We build it as a packed dome, tied tight, because density is what holds the effect together.
Being straight with you about the colour
No rose grows truly black. A black rose is one of two things: a very deep burgundy or crimson variety dark enough to read as black, or a rose finished to that colour. Up close, under daylight or a warm spotlight, the deep varieties show their red core at the petal edge. If the exact shade matters for a colour scheme or for photographs you cannot reshoot, message us on WhatsApp first and we will tell you what is achievable on your date.
Where it lands, and where it does not
It suits gothic and black-tie weddings, opening nights, product launches, milestone birthdays for someone with edge, and creative or corporate gifting. On a reception desk or a stage it works as a set piece rather than a decoration.
Do not send it for a bereavement. Black reads as finality, which is at best awkward for a grieving family; send white roses instead. Skip it for a first romantic gesture too, where red roses do the job better.
Choosing the count
One hundred stems stop being something you hold and become something a room makes space for. It needs a wide surface or a floor position, and someone to carry it. If it is going in a car, check the boot. Fifty stems read just as dark and travel far more easily. Our bouquets grouped by stem count show the jump in scale, and the black rose range has smaller options.

Keeping them looking right
Air conditioning is harder on cut flowers than Dubai heat. Dry moving air lifts moisture off the petals faster than the stems replace it. Keep the vase clear of vents and out of sun through glass. Change the water every two days and re-cut the stems at an angle. Fresh roses last five to ten days. Dark petals show thirst as a dulled, papery edge.
